The pupils received an interesting presentation from Kishorn Port Ltd (KPL) director Simon Russell detailing the history of the site and the future hopes and plans for the facilities. Mr Russell said he was impressed with the level of interest from the students and enjoyed fielding some insightful questions. This was then followed by a tour of the yard and dry dock by fellow KPL director Alasdair Ferguson.

The next day, KPL invited local people from the surrounding area for a visit a 34 attendees also received presentations and tours of the yard throughout the morning.
Mr Ferguson added: 'KPL would like to thank everybody that visited the site over the two days. Following the success of this event we hope to do another similar event in the future.'
