The Fiona Hunter Trio will take to the stage in Campbeltown Heritage Centre at the festival's Traditional Concert on Saturday August 12.
Fiona has won various awards as a solo artist and with folk band Malinky. Following the release of her first solo album in 2014, Fiona gained further acclaim when she sang with the large-scale Grit Orchestra at Celtic Connections.
The band was formed to celebrate the music of techno-folk musician Martyn Bennett and went on to perform to a capacity audience of 13,000 at Glasgow’s Hydro arena.
Fiona will be joined on stage by one of the most creative forces on the Scottish music scene, Mike Vass, and by Tom Gibbs on piano, in what will be her first performance at the MOKFest since 2013.
They will be supported by the Argyll Ceilidh Trail who will perform a special acoustic set to open the Traditional Concert.
