Sunday saw her complete her 100th swim in 100 days in aid of The Royal Marines Charity.
Gill's friends from Dunearn Bluetits open swimming group and other supporters flocked to celebrate the final splash and congratulate their water-buddy on raising more than £1,000.

'I'm so happy I exceeded the target. Bringing in the funds kept me going. The Royal Marines never give up when the going gets tough so neither was I going to. It's been great fun and I can't wait to get back in the water again!' said Gill.
