More than 40 rowers took part in the event of more than 21km, organised by isle of Seil Coastal Rowing Club convenor Sue Fenton. The crews left from Balvicar Boatyard and stopped for a crew change-over and a picnic on Easdale Island provided by The Puffer Restaurant.
Seil club member Fiona Coutts also made a birthday cake to share.
In the evening the crews met up again for a meal at The Oyster Bar in Ellenabeich.
