Snowdrops are springing up and you can find out about 40 different types of the simple white bloom, by going along to Ardchattan for a guided garden stroll this Sunday.
Looking forward to the summer, Scotland will be hosting a new national gardening show.
The National Gardening & Outdoor Living Show will take place for the first time on Saturday and Sunday, July 26 and July 27 at The Royal Highland Centre in Edinburgh.
The event will bring together up to 40 award-winning nurseries, a traditional fruit and vegetable show, talks, workshops and traders.
Among those taking part will be houseplant specialists Dibleys - holders of more than 200 RHS gold medals.
The show will also feature aspects of outdoor living, including camping and caravanning, alongside a packed programme of live entertainment and activities for children throughout the weekend.
Show organiser Adam Fleming, said: “Scotland’s gardeners deserve a national show and so we are delighted to bring together everything they need, from plants and practical advice to bucket loads of inspiration, all in one place."
