The first of a series of planned studio days in Cullipool on Luing saw a popular take-up from artists wanting to get hands-on and involved.
Five booked a slot in Cullipool Village Hall over a February weekend to work on creative projects from sculpture to felting, painting slates and making slate mosaics.
The studio days are a continuation of last year’s CHARTS Coastal Cultures Islands Residency on Luing and other islands. Funding from CHARTS - a Culture, Arts and Heritage Network for Argyll and Bute - secured a variety of workshops for islanders including having a go at linotype printing.
Sunday also saw the first Creative Island Walk, this time visiting Seil where wordsmiths, photographers sketchers and painters were invited to take an inspirational stroll together.
