Despite rain on the day, residents, staff, family and friends enjoyed an afternoon filled with singing, dancing and barbecue food on Friday June 30.
Inflatable palm trees and beach balls brought a touch of the exotic to the home where everyone gathered to sing the Tony Christie song Thank You For Being A Friend to mark the UK's third annual Thank You Day.
Sean and Finn Grady, members of SG Taekwon-Do Scottish Highlands, added to the entertainment by giving an impressive martial arts display.
“During the open day, we raised £458 from our raffle, baking stall and guess the number of sweets in the jar,” said senior wellbeing co-ordinator Susan Ellis. “All money raised will be added to our residents’ fund.
“Thank you to everyone who donated to the raffle, baked for our baking stall and turned up to support us on the day.”
