In addition to the animal and implement judging, there were other attractions around the field including local craft, trade and food stalls.

The main ring entertainment was courtesy of the Drakes of Hazard, a sheepdog and duck display team led by Luss farmer Mark Wylie that kept the crowds enthralled during two shows.

Also proving popular was a tug of war, organised by Campbeltown Young Farmers, which put the crowd's strongest men, women and children to the test.

John Armour, Kintyre Agricultural Society secretary, said: “The society thanks all exhibitors, judges, sponsors, companies and organisations who took a trade stand, individuals and businesses who made donations, our main ring entertainers, all stewards and helpers who gave up their time to ensure the show ran smoothly and all of you who came along and hopefully enjoyed your time at the show.”
