Patrons of The Corner House on the North Kintyre village's harbour front helped to raise £4,000 for Parkinson's UK through its race night on Friday March 24.
And a quiz night on Friday March 31 helped raise another £510 towards the fight against the disease.
Margaret McNeill, pub co-owner with her husband Duggie, said: "The charity has told us that through the past few fundraising events we have had on, we have raised around £17,000 for charity.
"That's a lot of money for a wee village."
What's more, Tarbert man Kenny MacNab raised £5,429 for the charity after walking the epic 800-kilometre (500-mile), Camino de Santiago, which took him from Lourdes in southwest France to the Galician city of Santiago de Compostela, in north-western Spain.
Margaret added: "Thanks, too, to our quiz master Martin Jeffries for organising the questions and leading the quiz, helping us to raise these amounts for a very worthy charity.
"We are always amazed by the support we receive from Tarbert people for the fundraising events we put on and these have been no different.
"We plan to hold further fundraising nights later in the year, such as our Pink Night in support of breast cancer charities, in October."
