Mid Argyll Youth Development Services (MAYDS) was awarded £3,000 through the Youth and Philanthropy Initiative after being nominated by students Heleana McAllister, Poppy McLean, Ruby Beagan and Sophie Dennis.
Their presentation convinced the panel that MAYDS was a worthy recipient.
In discussion with the pupils, MAYDS will use the money to promote education and life skills for young people and young parents.
Since being introduced to Scotland in 2008 by The Wood Foundation, the Youth and Philanthropy Initiative has engaged more than 230,000 young people who have taken responsibility for £5m of charitable giving.
Each school is responsible for directing a grant of £3,000 to a local charity championed by its students through a programme of teamwork, research, and competition.
