The third round of Tarbert Golf Club’s winter league took place last Saturday in pleasant overhead conditions.
With annual maintenance work taking place on the greens, winter greens were in operation for those taking part.
The course remains in excellent condition given the time of year, with the greenkeeping staff doing an excellent job.
The winner on the day for this nine-hole event was Georgie Dickson with an excellent 21 points, followed by John MacNab on 16 points.
Tomorrow (Saturday), the annual prizegiving takes place in the clubhouse at 2pm, where there will be a light buffet provided.
Club members are asked to bring a raffle prize and, for those wishing to take part, there will be pre-presentation golf at 11am.
For those members still wishing to purchase club clothing, this will be the last chance to place your order with Jo Kerr.
Club president Eric McDougall is hoping for a good turnout of members for this event.
