Fifty dogs under the control of some of Scotland’s top handlers were put to the test at the annual Skipness and District Sheepdog Trial.
The competition was held recently at Chapel Park, by kind permission of Skipness Estate, which also supplied the sheep, which were well behaved on the day.
The judge was Jessie Main from Whitehouse.
The Kintyre class was won by Alex MacCuish from Skipness, with Andy, and the open class was won by Lochgoilhead’s Chris Toner, with Mace.
The trial is part-funded by a grant from Tarbert and Skipness Community Wind Farm Trust.
