This will see teams of cyclists, including many rugby legends, cycle 555 miles in 48 hours from Cardiff to Murrayfield, ahead of Scotland’s Six Nations game against Wales on Saturday.
This ends a six-week mass participation event to raise funds for research to find meaningful treatments for Motor Neuron Disease (MND).
Doddie Aid has strong connections with the Isle of Coll, having been founded by Coll resident and former Scotland Rugby captain, Rob Wainwright.
The Isle of Coll Distillery, based on the Coll, is actively supporting Doddie Aid.
Dougie Brown, who runs the distillery said: "We are very proud to be a sponsor of the Doddie Cup 555 cycle this week and be part of the fight against MND."
In addition to the sponsorship, the Isle of Coll Distillery are also offering a special promotion during Doddie Aid.
Brown said: "We are giving everyone to opportunity to try our spirits while raising money for Doddie Aid. Until February 15, we will be donating £10 to Doddie Aid for every purchase of a 70cl bottle of gin or vodka online (isleofcolldistillery.com) or from Coll stores."
Included in this offer is their Isle of Coll Hebridean Gin, which was just awarded ‘Best Contemporary Gin’ in Scotland by the World Gin Awards - great recognition for this local distillery.
