Two East Kintyre bridges that were damaged during storms in early December have now reopened to all traffic.
Saddell Mill Bridge and Torrisdale Bridge, both on the B842, suffered structural damage during Storm Darragh, with the former initially being fully closed on December 8, forcing a 60-mile diversion for commuters between Saddell and Campbeltown. A three-tonne weight restriction was implemented on the latter.
After the completion of stabilisation works, Saddell Mill Bridge was opened to vehicles up to 26 tonnes on December 18, after which work began to fully repair Torrisdale Bridge.
Argyll and Bute Council lifted the remaining weight restrictions on both bridges at 5pm today (Tuesday), opening them to all vehicles.
