A very pleased UARG chairman Mark Linfield told the Lochaber Times: 'It was presented at the TPAS annual conference.
'Our group was delighted to have been nominated for an award by Highland Council's Tenant Participation Team.
'To be runners-up in the whole of Scotland is a credit to how hard the group have been working over the last couple of years.
'We continue working towards improving our area and look forward to more of our residents becoming involved. Our group covers from Grange Road to Perth Place.'
