The Coastguard Rescue Team have been out staging a practice landing at Mull’s new helipad - and captured the dramatic footage for us to share.
Video taken by Mull and Iona Community Trust General Manager Moray Finch shows the experts honing their skills in preparation for an emergencies.
Construction on the landing site, adjacent to the Mull and Iona Community Hospital, began in May last year, with the official opening taking place last month.
The land for the project was donated to the local community, with the full £418,000 cost covered by the Helicopter Emergency Landing Pads (Help) appeal.
A further landing site has also been constructed on Gigha.
Senior charge nurse on Mull, Cheryl-Ann Paterson, previously said the helipad would make a huge difference to the health outcomes for patients on the island.
