Jessica McGeachy, Emma Johnston and Abigail McAllister, who are all in P4 at Castlehill Primary School, received £2,350 through their online fundraising page after walking the route of the Mull of Kintyre 10K race on Sunday November 29.
The total, which includes more than £2,000 in sponsorship and donations, was boosted by £172 from Bellochantuy-based Deliciously Scottish Eggs, which donated a portion of the sales of special pink egg boxes to the girls' campaign.
The money will be donated to Children 1st, a Scottish charity which aims to give every child in Scotland a safe and secure childhood.
The girls' parents said: 'Thank you to Deliciously Scottish Eggs for its final, very generous donation.
'Thank you to everyone who donated and to all who bought the brilliant Deliciously Scottish Eggs in the special pink boxes - we hope you enjoyed them as much as we have.'
