The unusual par/bogey format pitted player against the par of the course in a match-play format.
Jim Williamson emerged victorious on the day with a superb round of +7 but he was pushed all the way by Robert Irvine who just fell short on +6.
'The course, as always, was in excellent condition thanks to greenkeepers Jonathan and Campbell although the strong wind made the winning scores even more impressive,' said a club spokesperson.
'Thanks to Emma and the volunteers for providing teas/coffees for the players on the day.
'We look forward to welcoming our new club steward – Moyra Paterson – who will open The Putt Stop over the next few weekends, then full-time from September 17.
'We all wish this new venture every success in the future.
'Non-members are more than welcome to attend the clubhouse to support Moyra so please feel free to pop in.'
