Local musicians started off the evening with Hector Henderson playing a great set of tunes on piano accordion accompanied by Hugh MacCalum on drums. Hector then accompanied on piano for Calum MacColl who gave a rollercoaster of tunes on the button box.
Cameron MacIsaac, one of the younger players, was on piano accordion and played a varied set of tunes. Robert Nairn, who tutors young Craig Kennedy, was on button box and assisted Craig with some well known tunes. Robert then played his usual immaculate repertoire of music.
A visiting musician, on small button box, from Munlochy, Ross-shire, Dennis Hurst, gave a very lively and varied set.
Guest artists were the Marian Anderson Trio, with Marian on lead accordion, Max Kitchen on drums, Isobel Hodgson on piano and performed a great set of varied music to a very appreciative audience. The evening ended with the usual stramash.
The club chairman duly thanked all and hoped more musicians, young or not so young, who would be welcomed to come along.
