With just over four weeks to go, restaurants and shops on Arran are already geared up for the festive season, allowing you to get ahead of the curve and make a head-start on all of the Christmas preparations and essential shopping.

CD_ZZArranChristmas11_24.jpg

In what can be a very busy period with sprucing up the house, preparing family meals and welcoming those near and dear to us, we are determined to help avoid any last minute rushing around this year by being well prepared in advance of the big day.

To help with that we have prepared a long list of those people, places and businesses on Arran that are offering great festive deals and bargains to help make this the most wonderful and stress free Christmas ever.

Of course we will always encourage you to shop local, as everything that you could possibly need can be found right on your doorstep, and what’s more you will be supporting local businesses at this time of year.

Most importantly of all though, is that you will be contributing to the local economy which supports local causes! Needless to say, products purchased on Arran offer a special uniqueness and quality, without having to head to the mainland. If there ever was a good time to take advantage of great prices, superb quality and festive offers, this is it, but get started early, Christmas will be here before you know i

Stonesthrow Sauna

This festive season, you cam escape the hustle and bustle of Christmas shopping and treat yourself to a warm and cosy sauna session at Stonesthrow Sauna. Nestled by the shore at either Lamlash or Whiting Bay, their beautiful mobile, wood-fired sauna offers the perfect way to unwind and recharge.

Wrap yourself in warmth in their inviting wooden benches, and take in the view through the large picture window. Then, for the brave at heart, take a cold plunge into the sea (*optional, of course, but an amazing feeling) - and repeat!

It’s an ideal opportunity to connect with nature, share laughter with friends old and new, or simply enjoy a peaceful retreat by the water. This Christmas, give yourself (or that special someone on your shopping list – gift vouchers available!) the gift of some ’me’ time at Stonesthrow Sauna.
