The sun shone and Brodick shorefront was filled with a rainbow of colour as the Arran Pride grand parade attracted hundreds of supporters to Arran.
Now in its third year, the parade is a kaleidoscope of colour with participants dressed in bright, outrageous costumes to celebrate diversity.
The ferries were filled to capacity with revellers from the mainland joining the fun.
The fun began with the grand parade which stretched the length of Brodick shorefront. It was led by Audrey Campbell, who led the Oban Pride march last year. Also taking part were Arran Pride’s always colourful organiser Michael Gettins and Miss Sasha Blaze.
The revellers sang and danced their way to the park behind Brodick Hall where they had a picnic in the sun, played sports and enjoyed entertainment during the family friendly afternoon.
Also on offer to visitors in the hall were stalls for support groups and allied LGBTQ+ organisations which provided information, support and networking opportunities.
In the evening, a sell-out ceilidh in the hall went down a storm with everyone who attended with great music provided by Findlay Napier’s Non Specific Soup.
