North Lorn Drama Festival is coming to a stage in Appin later this month.
Dates for your diary are Thursday March 27 and Friday March 28, starting at 7pm both nights at Appin Hall.
Theatrical groups from Taynuilt, Benderloch and North Connel, Appin and Seil will be treading the boards with four performances on the Thursday and three on the Friday followed by prizegiving.
There are no school groups performing this year but organisers hope they will be back in time for next year’s 70th anniversary festival.
Bruce Adams from Dunfermline will be the adjudicator with Appin minister, the Rev Dugald Cameron taking the part of chairperson for the two evenings.
One of the festival organisers Margaret Ross said: "We’ve got a good variety of plays this year and we hope we get a good turnout coming along to enjoy them and to support live entertainment.
"There’s no schools this year but they’ve said they’ll be back next year, we hope so. It’ll be out 70th anniversary next year so this is the build up for that."
Tickets, available at the door, are £7 for adults and £3 for children. A special two-night adult ticket is £12.
