UHI Argyll Big College Open Week

So, whether you’re a school leaver thinking about your next steps, considering a career change, or simply want to learn something new, there’s never been a better time to pay your local centre a visit.

Our doors will be open all week so you can pop in at a time that suits you and discover everything UHI Argyll has to offer.

We have a number of exciting, interactive taster sessions taking place throughout the week. Get a feel for what it’s like to study at UHI Argyll, find out if a particular subject is for you, meet our lecturers and students, and find out more about our courses.  

You can join the following events from our Oban centre:

·        Beauty Masterclass – Step into the shoes of a Beauty Therapist as you work alongside our current students and learn how to offer mini beauty treatments such as facials and manicures.

·        Health & Social Care Information Session - Learn about our range of Health & Social Care courses and participate in a practical activity to assess illness severity, work out a drugs calculation and practice delivering CPR.

·        Gaelic Language Taster Session - Help us keep the language alive and get a feel for what studying Gaelic at UHI Argyll is like. You’ll even come away with a few basic words and phrases under your belt!

Suitable for absolute beginners.

·        Early Years Education - Find out about our Childcare and Early Years Education courses and speak to our current students about their experience so far.

·        Beauty Pamper Evening - Join us at our college salon for a beauty-filled evening. Find out about what’s involved in our courses and indulge in a free treatment!
