Businesses across Argyll have been celebrating World Gaelic Week.
The celebrations started on Monday from coffee mornings and careers events to ceilidhs and marking culture and heritage.
Businesses joined with schools, community groups and businesses to get involved.
Established in 2022 and funded by Bòrd na Gàidhlig, Seachdain na Gàidhlig (World Gaelic Week) celebrates Scottish Gaelic across the world and aims to raise the profile of Gaelic through community initiatives, school engagement, projects, and events.
Argyll and Bute Council’s Policy Lead for Gaelic, Councillor Audrey Forrest, said: “The Gaelic language has played an important part in Argyll and Bute’s history for hundreds of years so it is great to see so many events taking place to mark World Gaelic Week and help raise awareness in our communities.
“Whether you’re a fluent Gaelic speaker, or are just starting your Gaelic learning journey, World Gaelic Week is a great opportunity to get involved."
