CalMac launches remaining summer timetables

Customers will be able to make bookings from February 18 at 8am.

These routes are:

• Mallaig-Lochboisdale

• Oban-Lismore

• Mallaig-Armadale

• Mallaig-Small Isles

• Sounds of Barra (Ardmhor-Eriskay)

• Sound of Harris (Berneray-Leverburgh) 

Advanced purchase of tickets for non-bookable routes will also open on this date. Largs-Cumbrae, the last of our non-bookable routes to be published, is also now online following further consultation with the local community.

Amended timetables have also been published to provide extra capacity to meet demand for the Tiree Music Festival July 11-13. 

These amended services will operate between Oban and Coll, Tiree, Colonsay and Mull, and between Kennacraig and Islay.

With MV Isle of Mull expected to continue operating with reduced passenger capacity at the start of the summer season due to issues with its Marine Evacuation System, MV Coruisk will remain in Oban to support Mull services until May 15.

CalMac has assured that work is ongoing with Transport Scotland regarding vessel deployments and what services can be provided to Campbeltown this summer. 

CalMac said it is in regular touch with Campbeltown Ferry Committee and will continue to update them with progress on a fortnightly basis.

Deployment options are still being considered for Islay between March 28 and April 22 and during MV Finlaggan’s overhaul between April 23 and May 13.

It is hoped that plans will be confirmed by February 7.
