This month Dance Platform not only marks it 20th anniversary but also returns to its original venue of the Nevis Centre.
For three nights starting on Wednesday, November 20, dancers from schools across Lochaber will take to the stage, hopefully alongside many who have have tread the boards in past years.
Organisers are also planning to have a display in the foyer with information, images and videos dating right back to its origins in 2004.
The plan is also to invite past performers to make guest appearances with a wheelchair performance and Zumba class already organised to promote dance as an inclusive activity.
Involved since day one and still active in its production, Jasmine Adams said: "Back then I had just become Lochaber High School active schools coordinator with the brief to get schoolgirls more active (boys had shinty, football and rugby which were well-established in the community).
"Carol Cairns was the primary schools coordinator and both of us were interested in dance. She had initiated dance clubs led by LHS pupils in a few primary schools and I had got groups of high school students working on their own dances.
"All we needed was a platform at which to perform them.
"At the same time, Lochaber Arts development officer Helen Semple had arranged for an Indian classical dance group Ihayami to perform at the Nevis centre and was wondering how to generate an audience for them.
"We managed to join forces and so Lochaber Dance Platform was born.
"I would love to have people involved in the early dance platforms to get in touch by email at jasneiyanwei@icloud.com."
