The Duke of Argyll hosted two famous faces last week as part of a ceremony celebrating the whisky industry.
Singer Sir Rod Stewart and his wife Penny Lancaster, a special constable in the City of London Police, attended the event at Blair Castle on Monday October 7.
The duke, Torquhil Campbell, holds the title of Grand Master of the Keepers of the Quaich as head of an international society set up to recognise and celebrate people who have shown commitment to the Scotch whisky industry.
And at Monday’s celebration, Sir Rod was made an honorary member of the society.
Speaking on behalf of Keepers of the Quaich, Chair of the Keepers management committee Ian Smith said: “It was an honour and a privilege to host Sir Rod and Penny at our Autumn Banquet.
"They were wonderful guests, bringing incredible star quality to what was a magical evening at Blair Castle. We are proud that Sir Rod is now an Honorary Keeper of the Quaich.”
