Oban Winter Festival takes place from November 15 to November 24, promising a week filled with festive cheer and entertainment.
The grand Finale Concert will feature a star-studded line-up of some of the biggest names in traditional music, making it an unmissable event for music lovers.
One of the festival’s highlights is the much-loved Winter Woods event, held on November 15, 16 and 17 and 22 November 22, 23 and 24.
Although designed to delight children, it’s certainly not just for them. This enchanting night-time experience brings Glencruitten Woods to life, transforming the forest into a magical wonderland with dazzling illuminations and atmospheric music.
The theme for 2024, Oceans and Seas, runs alongside an upcycling theme showcasing beautiful, creative installations crafted by members of the community.
Families can make the most of the experience by visiting the forest food court, where a variety of delicious treats will be available. There will also be free children’s crafts and face painting in the marquee, offering fun and creativity for the little ones.
For the adults, the licensed bar will serve warming drinks or a glass of something bubbly to enjoy as they take
in the stunning atmosphere.
