Primary school pupils from Duror, Glencoe and St Brides are all clued up on otters following a recent visit from Ben Yoxon of the International Otter Survival Fund based on the Isle of Skye.
Taking place at Duror Primary School the P4/5 pupils learned about different otter species and their habitats around the world.
The children also looked at the importance of the aquatic mammals in their local shoreline habitats and what they can do to help protect and promote otters.
The session was organised through MACOLL (Marine and Coastal Conservation of Loch Linnhe) which the Duror school is developing a partnership with.
A beach little clean at Cuil Bay to promote the work that IOSF do will take place in the coming weeks.
