Dangerous driving
It was reported that a motor vehicle was driving in a dangerous manner at excessive speeds in poor weather conditions at Port Ann on the A83 at about 8.40pm on Tuesday February 4. A 52-year-old male was charged with the offence, and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal detailing the circumstances.
Driving with no insurance
Police had cause to stop a motor vehicle at 12.10am on Saturday February 8 near The George Hotel, Inveraray and it was found that the driver had no insurance. A 21-year-old man was charged with the offence, and a report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal detailing the circumstances.
Assault
Around 09.45ams on Saturday February 8 at Clachan, it has been alleged that a man assaulted another man by pushing him. A 51-year-old male was arrested and charged with the offence and a report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.
Threatening behaviour
On Sunday February 9 it was reported that a man had been acting in a threatening and abusive manner towards a woman at Ormsary. A 32-year-old man was subsequently arrested and charged and a report was submitted to the procurator fiscal.
