Police are probing a break-in at the Dalmally Hotel.
Officers say the crime, which is being treated as housebreaking with intent to steal took place between 12.50am and 1.50am on Sunday at the property, situated between Tyndrum and Oban.
Police say it has been alleged that persons forced entry to the building via a window with the intent to steal from within.
Officers are investigating and anyone with information is asked to call on 101, contact officers anonymously through Crimestoppers or Police Scotland’s website, all quoting crime reference CR/0042898/25.
The hotel is currently closed and has not re opened from closures enforced by the Covid 19 pandemic. Agents who are working to sell it with a £1.9m asking price say it is fully furnished and presents an opportunity for ’an experienced operator to take on and re establish this prominent roadside business’.
