A race night organised by St Columba’s School raised £1,624.
The event on May 3 at Soroba House was a great night thanks to lots of support said Parent Council chairperson Shona Fox.
She said: “We want to say a massive thank you to everyone who supported our event. The money raised will go a long way in helping support the school provide great experiences for our children.
"We would like to say a really big thank you to Donald, Stephanie and Anna at Soroba House for such a brilliant night and looking after us so well.
"We would also like to extend our gratitude for the generous race sponsors, Killorn Guest House, A2B Taxis, MacLennan Distribution, Coast Plumbing and Heating, Kenny Wotherspoon Plumbing and Heating, Ada and Chumwa Okekeogbu, Amore Hairdressing, and Yardley School of Irish Dance.
"Thank you to everyone who bought horses, jockeys and took part in our horse auction at the end of the night. And our final thank you goes to our wonderful Primary 7 helpers, who represented your families and school in such a positive way."
