Full time opening hours
Throughout February, the museum was open five days a week, however, from March 1, the doors will be back open full time.
Opening times from March 1 will be 10am – 5pm, with last entrance at 4pm, seven days a week.
New ticket pricing for 2025 gives unlimited access to exhibitions for a year from the purchase date.
Thank you to everyone who has already visited this year!
Kilmartin Museum needs you
Kilmartin Museum is seeking volunteers to join the existing team, who are enthusiastic about the history of Argyll and who can help us bring the past to life and share it with others.
As a volunteer, they will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced staff and gain valuable knowledge about the prehistoric world.
As a charitable organisation, we are committed to involving people of all ages from our local community who would like to help us make Kilmartin Museum a special place for everyone to visit and learn about the very special area where we live.
There are many areas of the museum that people can volunteer for – from exhibition and walking guides to gardening and admin, there is something for everyone.
If anyone would like to read more or apply, you can do so by visiting our website at www.kilmartin.org and selecting “Volunteering” under the “Get Involved” tab, or by calling us on 01546 510278.
