Feathers flew across the games hall at Campbeltown Grammar School when the annual Kintyre Primary Schools Badminton Competition took place on Saturday.
The event was meant to be held on Saturday January 25, but it had to be rescheduled after Storm Eowyn caused it to be postponed.
There was a great response to the competition this year, with more than 40 entries from Glenbarr, Dalintober, Castlehill and Drumlemble primary schools.
A number of players were taking part in their first competition and organisers said they performed very well.
At the end of a successful day’s play, medals and awards were presented to the youngsters by John Armour.
