Ponies and riders from Argyll South Pony Club have being enjoying the sunny weather – while raising money for Marie Curie.
There have been lots of after-school rallies at various venues, with the emphasis on dressage.
The annual Daffodil Ride over the weekend of April 27/28 attracted 32 riders, including a contingent from Arran.
Thanks to a generous donation from Argyll Riding Club and the support of Skipness Estate and Claonaig Estates, £668 was raised for Marie Curie.
The latest event for young members was a trip to Loch Lomond Cross Country at Balloch on Sunday May 12 for tuition from Debbie Rodwell.
Ten riders and their ponies enjoyed galloping and jumping over various obstacles while being tutored in balance and control at speed.
There were giant steps, log piles and ditches among the jumps on the well laid-out course. In the afternoon, everyone went on a hack up the hills above Loch Lomond to enjoy the views.
Everyone, ponies included, went home tired but happy.
The next event is the Fun Day Show at Claonaig Ferry on Sunday June 2. Entry forms are on the Argyll South Pony Club Facebook page.
